After the Warsaw Summit in Poland, which took place on December 4, the leaders of conservative parties from many European countries joined and declared equipment in the face of the idea of a European federalization of Europe.
The conference was attended by 13 representatvies of conservative parties from all around Europe. Among guests we should distinguish Marine Le Pen or Victor Orbán. There were also representatives of the Spanish Vox party (Santiago Abascal), the Estonian Conservative People’s Party (Martin Helme), the True Finns, the Romanian Christian Democratic National Peasant Party, the Dutch JA21 and the Belgian Flemish Interest (Tom Van Grieken).
“We reject the arbitrary application of EU law, bending and even breaking treaties. Only sovereign state institutions have full democratic legitimacy” – it was noted.
“The participants of the conference share a common and deep conviction that the European Union is composed of free and equal nation states, linked by close and numerous threads of cooperation. We share this conviction with many millions of citizens of the Member States of the entire European Union” – emphasized
The participants of the meeting agreed that the next ideological conference would be organized in Spain in the coming months, which would be a response to the ongoing debate on the future of Europe.
